A Mobile App Design
OVERVIEW
This mockup app design that I made is inspired on a website called Loop. Loop is not only a new way to discover and listen to music, but also a “community". As a “Looper", you can share your favorite music with others. It's also a great way to discover music by following other Loopers. I used this mockup as a personal project to explore interesting interaction models and visual complexities.
MOTIVATION
Everyone wants to find new and cool music. Some apps just expose daily musical goodies, others make recommendations based on your very own preferences, but they are all based on machine learning and may make you feel isolated. Music is not only about feelings and mood, but also the environment and people.
RESEARCH & ANALYSIS
People want to find more music. But at the same time, they want to share good music with others. I defined some different types of situations after I took time to research users’ behavior. Then keep asking myself when users are listening to music in a specific moment, what can inspire them to find interesting things around them, and how can users find new types of music genres, boosting their overall happiness through music discovery.
USER TASK FLOW
Task flows helped us to think through the design, before a feature is actually developed. It helped us to interject the user into the flow of the application, and determine if the conceptual model agrees with the user model.

Draft some quick sketches would be the best way to verify some ideas and fix some potential issues.
